The tournament is played under 2021-2022 Season age groups

The Anaheim FC Summer Showcase is a Class I & a Class III tournament sanctioned by Cal South a USYS State Association.

The Anaheim FC Summer Showcase is "OPEN" to all USSF affiliated Members.

USSF Members are US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer State Associations-Cal South, CYSA-North, AYSO Teams etc.

Teams from Northern California & outside the State of California will receive automatic acceptance into the tournament upon completion of their application and receipt of their registration fee.

Travel Papers/Permission no longer required: Teams in good standing may now travel to US Youth Soccer Sanctioned Tournaments located in all US Youth Soccer Region IV states without garnering permission through travel papers.

US Youth Soccer Region IV state associations include Alaska, Arizona, Cal North, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. All players must have a current medical release (player registration form) and player card, and all team administrators must have a current administrator pass. These documents are proof of insurance coverage should an accident occur on the soccer field during a sanctioned event as mentioned above.

Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted.

Requests for (DROPS) withdrawals from the tournament will only be accepted from Administrators (Contact Person or Coach) listed on the teams application for the tournament.

** Refunds provided to teams that drop prior to the deadline, will be assessed a $75.00 administrative fee.

Teams that drop after the July 31, 2021 deadline will forfeit their entire application fee.

U8/2014 & U10/2012 Age Groups play 7v7

U11/2011 & U12/2010 Age Groups play 9v9

13/2009 to U19/2003 Age Groups play 11v11

Tournament Dates: The tournament will be held on August 14-15, 2021. The tournament spans two days with pool play Saturday and Sunday concluding with championship games Sunday afternoon.

Make-up Dates: August 21-22, 2021

Late Registration: Teams applying after July 31, 2021 will be accessed an additional $75.00 and will be placed on a waiting list.

Acceptance of any team that submits an application after the deadline is at the sole discretion of the tournament committee. Any late team that is not accepted will receive a full refund.

Loaned Players:  Unlimited loaned players will be allowed.                                                           

Maximum Roster Size:

  • U8/2014 & U10/2012 - 12 Players
  • U11/2011 & U12/2010 - 16 Players
  • U13/2009 & U14/2008 - 18 Players
  • U15/2007 - U19/2003 - 22 Players

Games: Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games.


  • U8/2014 & U10/2012 Age Groups play 7v7
  • U11/2011 & U12/2010 Age Groups play 9v9
  • 13/2009 to U19/2003 Age Groups play 11v11

Duration of preliminary games and semi-final games:

  • U8/2014 to U14/2008 games 50 minutes
  • U15/2007 to U19/2003 games 60 minutes

 Championship Games are as follows:

  • U8/2014 to U10/2012 ~ 50 minutes
  • U11/2011 to U12/2010 ~ 60 minutes
  • U13/2009 to U14/2008 ~ 70 minutes
  • U15/2007 to U16/2006 ~ 80 minutes
  • U17/2005 to U19/2003 ~ 90 minutes

Bracketing: It is the intent of the tournament to bracket in flights of 6, 8 or 12 teams. Variations may occur based on total teams entered or subsequent team drops.

Awards: Each participant will receive a tournament   pin.

The 2021 Anaheim FC Summer Showcase Award will be presented to the championship coach.

Medals: Champion and Finalist medals will be presented to those teams participating in the final matc
